Necklace " My Lollipop "

I return during my childhood and I created a cheerful and fragrant necklace, vivid colors that remind us of the old dragges and of course...the delicious lollipop.

Did I stirred up beautiful memories? Do you remember how we tasted at a time, each candy, to discover the favorite flavor? I hope so ..... because I've collected all those delights in this beautiful necklace.

The necklace is made with 10 wood natural balls ( untreated ), crochet covered with 100% cotton thread, accesorized with a chocolate bow and a sweet lollipop. The back side of the lollipop is felted. The balls are tightened on a crochet cord with an adjustable lenght.

You can find the advantages of using this necklace, here, but most of all, this a original handmade necklace and it could be wear by everyone who loves handmade art.

Nursing necklaces - part I

Because recently I became an aunt and my sister is keeping me informed by the latest trends in babywearing, I've started to create these special necklaces, which are " must-have " accesories for every brestfeeding mom, in the same time, they are baby - friendly toys for playful babies.
They are specially created for capturing attention while babies are breastfeed, thus avoiding the small " nuisance " as nose pinching, hair pulling, and more....you know it :)
Moreover, a babywearing necklace will be the perfect accesory for outdoors walking, so that the little ones will love playing with the colorful beads, also they can help them to develop the fine motor skills.
To make them more attractive, I played with the colors and chose the most cherful ones. I'll tell you one by one, the story of each breasfeeding necklace, but before that, I'll make a brief description of handmade process.
They are made with natural wood balls ( untreated, unvarnished ), crocheted with 100% cotton yarn; I've chosen a high quality cotton, Schachenmayr mark, so they are completely safe for your babies to tocuh and chew on......ideal for first dental pains.
The balls and crocheted parts are tightened on a crocheted cord, very resistance, with adjustable lenght.
I reccomand washing machine at 30 degrees and a very important note :
ALTHOUGH THESE NECKLACE ARE MADE TO BE VERY SAFE FOR CHILDREN, NEVER LEAVE YOUR CHILD UNATTENDED WITH IT !!!!

Cadouri handmade

De-a lungul anilor am tot facut cadouri handmade, pe care le-am daruit cu mare drag familiei si prietenilor si carora vreau sa le multumesc pentru aprecieri si pentru faptul ca m-au convins sa incep acest proiect cu Buticul Colorat.
Cautind ceva idei zilele trecute, am descoperit pe Pinterest o poezioara despre cadourile handmade, care suna asa :

Mie una mi-a mers la inima si mi-as dori ca tot mai multi sa gandim si sa simtim asa, cand daruim sau primim un cadou handmade.

Necklace " Spring blossom "

"A ieşit răchita-n drum.
Ce-o mai fi şi asta, oare,

A very nice poem witten by a romanian writer, Otilia Cazimir.

Unfotunatelly I cannot reproduce in english the beauty of this poem, but it's in accord with my necklace, so here is my " Spring blossom " with golden sprouts and joyful catkins.

Made of strings with forsythia flowers and fluffy catkins, crocheted with mohair yarn and cotton thread, this necklace will brighten up a capricious spring day.
Wearing this necklace, you will remember what actually spring means ... ..a state of mind, lot of joy, light, color, scent or a new beginning.........

Necklace " spring sensation "

It's true that we're already count the spring in calendar, but the true heralds of spring are these beautifull flowers that greets you with their smile and fragrance ..... the daffodils; it's says that when the daffodils bloom, the winter is not coming back. Oooo ..... yes, we can enjoy of warmth and sun and all nature that comes to life.
About daffodils were written some legends, some of them with religious symbolism, but the one I liked the most, is the legend of Narcissus, a Romanian folk legend, which you can read here. ( only in romanian language )
Inspired by these flowers, I've created a beautiful necklace with spring flowers, which I called "Spring Sensation", because every time I wear it ...... I make sensation. I chose a yellow daffodil with whom I added two bouquets of violets and some delicate crocuses.

I used cotton thread, which is very resistant even washing in automatic machine;) 

The necklace has a length of 60 cm, if you want to adjust the length I can add a classic chain lock.

Necklace " Midnight delight "

OH, WHAT FUN IS TO BE A FAIRY, TRY OUT OUR MIDNIGHT DARE !!!!!!

I've recently visited Pelisorul castle, the beautiful castle which has the mark of Queen Maria. And for my great delight I learned that the Queen's favorite flowers were lilies and iris ....... flowers you can admire in all paintings made by the queen, in decoration on the walls and furniture. I'll assure you that it's worth to take delight in such beauty and even now I may seem subjective in preferences, I admit ... I like more Pelisorul castle (more intimate, warmer and so chic), than Peles castle.
So, this was my inspiration for this statement necklace, accessorised with earrings in the the same color tones; the magnificent lilly together with the shy iris, laid on a bed of leaves in autumnal colors from green to purple shadows and glow gold .... just like the moon pours rays in the midnight hour.
