Christmas necklaces

I love Christmas and I like to get into the holidays spirit, especially since I become a mother.  Every year, I try to keep the Christmas traditions alive and to give to my daughters the joy of receiving and sharing with loved ones.
Christmas, the most beautiful holiday of the year, is a magic celebration, but the magic comes from us and only us can keep it in our souls and pass it along.
Decorating the Christmas tree with my girls, their glittery eceys, when they open the Christmas gifts, carols around the Christmas tree, house full of my loved ones gathered around the Christmas table and all the delicious flavors ..... yeap, this is how it looks like Christmas for me and it's magic!!!!

Like always, my inspiration comes from things and moments that surround me, so I couldn't miss the Christmas models from my necklaces collection.

With a little magic dust and well-known colors of Christmas, I've just finished the necklace Christmas Magic; with a cheerful and childish look, this necklace will bring a smile to one who would wear it and certainly, she will not let to lose the magic of Christmas.

A little bit more elegant, with crocheted balls colored in green and silver fir, the necklace Christmas Flower was inspired also from Christmas traditions,well that Christmas Flower can't miss in any house in this period; whether we give or receive it, this flower brings beauty and harmony in our lives, around Christmas time.

The Christmas globes couldn't miss in my collection, so I've created a cheerful and colorful necklace, as I like to decorate my Christmas tree : not red, not blue, not gold or silver, but multicolored...so that looks the Christmas Joy necklace.

What would be winter without snow ? Well....even though lately we don't have snow during the holidays, the snowflakes could not miss in my collection, even so wearing it around the neck.
FROZEN necklace, colored in winter pastels, will remember you about the icey flowers from windows and frosty days, but still beautiful and magical days..

Halloween jewelry set

I don't like to celebrate, but I'm always like to accesorized ;)
I've seen these days pro/contra opinions about this holiday; .... I'm somewhere between, I can not say that I don't like it, but I don't dislike it so bad; what I don't like ...... well, those hideous costumes  of skeletons and vampires full of blood and disfigured faces, brrrr .... look terrible; instead, I like pumpkins carved and decorated, even to eat them, they are so tasty in any form of cooking .... yummii.
But I'm not talking about this holiday, and about SWEET PUMPKIN set, a necklace with assorted bead earrings, made to a mothers' whish who wanted to wear something in tune with the Halloween kids party.
So, the necklace can be worn by any breastfeeding mother, the little ones will surely be delighted by the contrast between the two colors, bright orange and duck egg color (I don't know how to say in english).
Like all of my babywearing necklaces, not only breastfeeding mothers can worn it, but anyone who loves art and especially handmade crocheted accessories; that's why I've made also, assorted earrings.

Necklace " Minted rose "

For this necklace, I have chosen a color mix that reminds me the two most popular flavors: mint and rose.
One of the most popular herbs, mint spoils us with her slightly acrid scent but also refreshing; The mint's benefits are countless, so being a herb used in medicine, cosmetics, but also in gastronomy.
About rose flavour ... who doesn't know it ?? Sweet and romantic, slightly oriental flavor, this will always awaken fond memories from my childhood, associating it with one of my favorite desserts: rose sherbet.

Currently, the combination of this two flavors is widely used in the preparation of cosmetics products and seems to blend successfully.
So, here is my minted rose mix flavour :

The necklace is the perfect choice for breastfeeding moms, because it's made from natural wooden beads and cotton thread. For a plus of harmony, I've added a crocheted flower, which looks like a rose with mint color.

Necklace " Forest fruits "

I continue  the story in the world full of flavors and vitamins, the color fruit's world, but this time, my source of inspiration .... berries:

Well.....this was the story of the necklace "Forest fuits" .I tried to be as close as the real colors, including raspberry and blackberries texture ..... I hope ;)
For a plus of harmony, I've added a crocheted strawberry and a flower strawberry, which I think .... completes so beautiful the berry cocktail.

I come back again in my childhood and I remember dearfully the days when I was hiking with my family and filled up our bags with raspberries, blueberries or blackberries; or my favorite dessert, fresh strawberries with cream and "little" sugar;)  Oh yes.... I had such a beautiful childhood; and for that ones who don't know what are those round, green and little bit lucent fruits, they are gooseberry; these fruits were growing in my grandparents' garden and I ate them straight from the branches.

Necklace " My Lollipop "

I return during my childhood and I created a cheerful and fragrant necklace, vivid colors that remind us of the old dragges and of course...the delicious lollipop.

Did I stirred up beautiful memories? Do you remember how we tasted at a time, each candy, to discover the favorite flavor? I hope so ..... because I've collected all those delights in this beautiful necklace.

The necklace is made with 10 wood natural balls ( untreated ), crochet covered with 100% cotton thread, accesorized with a chocolate bow and a sweet lollipop. The back side of the lollipop is felted. The balls are tightened on a crochet cord with an adjustable lenght.

Nursing necklaces - part I

Because recently I became an aunt and my sister is keeping me informed by the latest trends in babywearing, I've started to create these special necklaces, which are " must-have " accesories for every brestfeeding mom, in the same time, they are baby - friendly toys for playful babies.
They are specially created for capturing attention while babies are breastfeed, thus avoiding the small " nuisance " as nose pinching, hair pulling, and more....you know it :)
Moreover, a babywearing necklace will be the perfect accesory for outdoors walking, so that the little ones will love playing with the colorful beads, also they can help them to develop the fine motor skills.
To make them more attractive, I played with the colors and chose the most cherful ones. I'll tell you one by one, the story of each breasfeeding necklace, but before that, I'll make a brief description of handmade process.
They are made with natural wood balls ( untreated, unvarnished ), crocheted with 100% cotton yarn; I've chosen a high quality cotton, Schachenmayr mark, so they are completely safe for your babies to tocuh and chew on......ideal for first dental pains.
The balls and crocheted parts are tightened on a crocheted cord, very resistance, with adjustable lenght.
I reccomand washing machine at 30 degrees and a very important note :
ALTHOUGH THESE NECKLACE ARE MADE TO BE VERY SAFE FOR CHILDREN, NEVER LEAVE YOUR CHILD UNATTENDED WITH IT !!!!
